Job description
We are looking for a Backend Developer with Node.js to join our team and help us create elegant and efficient web and mobile applications as a freelancer
You are - ideally:
Experienced with Node.js
Familiar with at least one modern framework (Express.js, Fastify, koa, hapi)
Fluent with other technologies such as SQL/NoSQL databases
Equipped with real-world git experience
Thoroughly testing your code
Ready to discuss and iterate over your ideas during code reviews
Able to deploy your app to production—at least to Heroku :)
Communicating well in English (both written and spoken)
Able to work asynchronously
Big +
Familiar with Typescript
Comfortable with a highly iterative agile methodology that includes providing time estimates and managing feedback loops
Previous experience as a freelancer
You will:
Create and maintain scalable, tested web applications
Work in a highly collaborative team with fellow designers, project managers, and backend and front-end developers on innovative web products
Take part in project meetings, alignments and work closely with the rest of the delivery team
